This plugin allows user to mention each other in posts and if MyAlerts is installed creates alerts for those mentions. MyAlerts is only required for the alerts feature; the tagging feature is completely independent.

When MyAlerts is installed integration is enabled by default (in Admin CP) and enabled by default for every user.
